Two Fun, Free PC Games

Most people I know don't have unlimited funds and most people I know like good games and most people I know own computers. If you fall into any of those categories you'll love this post.

Tiny Barbarian (and it's coming-out-soon big brother Tiny Barbarian DX) is a great game. The retro feel, the crescent moon that is my sword swipe and the fact that I'm a shirtless mini Conan running around, make me feel very cozy. Did I mention it's free? If you like indie retro games and terrible pulp barbarian books, then you should definitely check this one out.


The second free game of today is Spelunky a stat tracking, XBLA famous, hat-wearing, whip slinging cave exploring, browser game. If none of those words lit up your face, I've lost hope. In this 2D side scroller you start off with a hat whip and some other cave exploring devices including bombs. I'm not sure I know many spelunkers that bring that kind of firepower into a cave full of snakes and other monsters, but to each their own. I haven't gotten to play much of this yet, but your character does start out with a hat and you should definitely try this game.
